| It takes three years to obtain full certification for organic and biodynamic wines through Ecocert or Demeter. The program entails ploughing, natural composting, the use of cover crops, no herbicides or pesticides, hand picking of grapes and the use of natural yeast. In the cellar, no sugar is added, a minimum of sulphur and little or no filtration. This produces cleaner, fresher wines with greater purity and expressive style, better for people and for the environment. |

This Gold medal winner is a blend of Syrah/Grenache made predominantly from free-run juice. The grapes were picked one night at 4am to preserve the freshness of fruit. The wine has a subtle aroma of redcurrant and strawberry.
